With ample dose of drama, romance, suspense and conspiracy, director Partha Sarathi Joardar seems to be on the right track of appeasing his audience.
He weaves his plot around a brother-sister duo of Koli (Rachna Banerjee) and Arjun (Raaj). Koli, her family���s sole bread-earner is in love with Sanjoy (Suman Banerjee). But Sanjoy���s cash hungry parents have made it their business to extract money from families of prospective brides through hefty dowries. Arjun tries his best to get
his beloved sister married to her love interest. But Koli���s troubles are far from over. Her in-laws hatch plans to end her life. How Arjun tries saving his sister is what Kolir Arjun is all about.
Newcomer Raaj has tried his best to prove his mettle as an actor but has a long way to go. Though the fresher has the scriptwriter and fight master Judo Ramu to thank for making his role meaty. Moubani has done a credible job as Raaj���s love interest. The director needs to give her serious sequences other than the routine song-and-dance.
Suman seemed a tad uncomfortable with his wardrobe. With its fair share of fight sequences, Kolir Arjun is not for the meek-hearted.
